It turns out the easiest way to reseat the steering wheel is the method below. Just loosen the bolt at the upper yoke of the steering column, and pull the steering wheel to separate it.
I tried separating the steering column at the firewall but for some reason it didn't want to fully separate from the pinion. I took the bolt all the way out; didn't help.
This leads me to the next issue - my horn hardly ever works. Is there a "good" method to troubleshoot this?
