Rock auto is O.K. BUT....
be careful ordering. I needed 4 bushings for my VW camper.I was
ordering them and noticed a HUGE 28.00 shipping charge! they have many
warehouses in the U.S. and ship from all of them. my 16.00 worth of
bushings would have been shipped from 4 locations..Nuff said. Also,
the calipers would be done by a company called A1 Cardone. I believe
it's a rebuilder out of Calif. I emailed them once and they said that
they would "take a look at mine" and see if they could rebuild them. I
doubt that Rock Auto would stock them, but I may be wrong as usual.
Miles C has some nice rebuilds if you need some. they appear pricey,
but previous experience tells me that they would be top notch. Thomas

Re: Rock Auto/Cardone
Cardone lists the calipers both loaded and unloaded. But when you try
to order them they don't have any cores. I sold a set of rebuilt
calipers to Robert (Twin Carb). They were not nice & gold looking like
mine, but I took one apart and it was top notch. New pistons, new
seals, new boots. I am going to be getting more done as soon as I get
my cores ready, keep an eye in my eBay store in a couple weeks. Should
be about $150.00 pr.

You can find similar listings on several auto part websites. Lots of
generic parts that might fit your car. The fuel filter they list is not
the same shape, will it fit? I don't know. They show rebuilt calipers.
I bought rebuilt calipers where they ground out the rust from the
pistons, added new seals then sold me back my own junk parts.
The wheel bearings they list look correct, fuel pumps are a generic
pump, other items? no time to look at every item. Compare your parts to
their pictures before you buy.
