brake calipers

Post by Linda Classon »

With the new new muffler and brake pads I thought I was ready
for the road but now it looks like I may need calipers too. My
brakes want to stay on all the time. Anyone know where I can
get new or rebuilt ones for a 1971 sedan?

Hi Linda;
Please explain "front calipers are on all the time"
Do they release when the bleed valve is opened? If so, it may be in the
master cylinder. See the attached picture - the bleed back hole in the
master cylinder may be plugged. You will have to open it up if this is the
problem.
