Honda car parts

Post by zinc2u »

Greetings,
Here are some part numbers for various Honda 600 parts.
Fuel Filter:   Purolator PFC-3 or Purolator F20003  or Napa Auto Parts FIL 3068
Rear Shocks:  Napa Auto Parts 94111   (this shock rides stiffer than the stock shock and you will not be able to use all the washers and split washers on the lower section...... consider using a thread locker to secure the nut)
Front Wheel Bearings:  2 bearing are required per side and the original bearing had one dust seal.  Napa Auto Parts has a part number 6305 2RSJ which has 2 seals for $38 and a part number 6305 RSJ which has one dust seal for $52..  One of the original suppliers to Honda was NTN bearings and their part number is NTN 6305LU.  NTN still shows this bearing as an available product.
The NAPA part 6305 2RSJ with 2 dust seals looks like a desirable part since you will probably be re-using the external dust seals on the inboard and outboard side of the bearing housing.  The seals on the bearing should be sufficient to keep the bearing clean even if your re-used seals are not in good condition.
Other Honda bearings:  look on the edge of the bearing for its number and contact an NTN bearing distributor for a replacement or check with NAPA auto parts.
happy wrenching,
Dale
