A couple of bicyclists went by my place today and they saw my Z600 coupe in the driveway and I heard one of them refer to it as a CVCC to his cycling companion.
I was looking at the Bonneville Speed Week website and I saw a picture of the Z60o coupe known as Evil Tweety (J-Pro entry) and the caption referred to it as CVCC
I have a friend who keeps referring to my 600 series vehicles as CVCCs
I used to own a 1975 Civic CVCC and it did not look anything like the 600 coupe.
I wonder if Honda realizes how much marketing power they have with the word "CVCC"? I thought they stopped using that word in their ads about 20 years ago.
BTW..... I have a 600 sedan and a 600 coupe parked together in my driveway. The vehicle which gets the most attention is the coupe. It is as though the sedan is not there. And the segment of our population which seems to admire the coupe the most.........
teenage girls !!! The comments I hear from the girls are always the same...."your car is sooo cute".
enough of my ramblings,
Dale

We are not 600...we are CVCC
Re: We are not 600...we are CVCC
It seems a lot of folks (from my experience) mistake the Sedan for a
much more common mini cooper . . . and yeah, Evil Tweety gets called a
CVCC quite a bit. If it wasn't so tacky I'd have a giant Z600 decal
made for the top of the windshield . . . .
(Send me the URL for Evil Tweety if you don't mind . . . )
