Cylinders w/pistions and rods....

tried to get my engine apart, still cant get the pistons out of the
cylinders, both are froze in really bad, tried that "special" un
freezing liquid that supposed to help, didnt do a dang thang!!! so now
my options are to replace the cylinders, pistions and rods, and look
for a replacement...any ideas????

I don't know about frozen pistons or what you were using but I have had
PB Blaster unfreeze some impossible things. Saturate it good and then every time you come by it give it several taps and squirt it again. Do this two or the days if need be. Good Luck

Hi Coka cola is good for freeing pistons, its not a joke it does work.

and everyone probably thinks your in the zone....yea that usually will work, but not this time, I have used heat, in the oven at 350 degrees for 2 hours, some other specialized soaking agent that only made a hella mess, Im not at ends wit, but just asking....Ill have to get ingenious here, maybe Ill have flash backs working on military vehicles...

I had a motor seized at top dead center. I thought I would never get it broken loose.
When the crank shaft is at the top of the stroke it is very difficult to get a stuck piston
loose you are pushing against the corrosion, and a centered rod. If all else fails, you can
pour some muratic acid on the pistons, in a day or so, they will just dissolve. It is some
nasty stuff though.

Well that is one that I havent tried yet, I have heard of it years ago, but gettin older aint a benefit in the mind department, I will check that out, in the mean time I am still looking for new pistons and rings main bearing, know of anyone? the pistons in her now, the skirts are both cracked

I've not done this, but my father soaked an old (20's era) motorcycle engine in a tub of kerosene for nearly 6 months. Everyweek he would remove it scape and clean it, tap, bump, pound and try to turn bolts and nuts, but he got it apart. I know that luxury of time may not be available to everyone nor be certain of success.

but the top of the piston if you do have a paint brush in a mixture
of baking soda & water ready to stop un wanted affect.Use a turky
