Questions about installing new pistons

Post by James D Stowell »

Hi everyone. Its been a long time since i have posted anything. I have
finally restarted on the resto project of mine. I have a 71 n600 and im
in the middle of the engine rebuild. I need to know if you can install
the pistons after you have already installed the crank and resealed the
case together? If you can is there a special too you need? can you buy
it somewhere? Is it a difficult task? I have rebuilt V8 engines before
but wonder if these little beauties are different. Thank you. James

Go back and read the old message on installing the pistons & rings.
This group has been here since 2002 and many of the issues people want
answers for are archived. Your answers are in messages # 1249 & 1255.
