hi its me again, dean. im still having a problem with idling. i have replaced all the tubing and o ring to stop the vacume leaks and the car is running smoother. but when left on its own the idle is stable at 1800 but drops from 1800 down to stalling in about a slow minute. if i touch the acc. it comes back up to speed and then starts to slow down again. note: the car does not have a muffler at this time, if that might make a difference. any ideas???? thanks

keeps slowing down
Re: keeps slowing down
disconnect vacume advance (hose) 1800rpm is too fast . if engine returns to idle with hose off then you need to reset idle ( idle screw too far in making vaccume advance work) and fuel mixture. Next need timming lite with engine idleing vacume hose off set timing with lite. vacume hose still off hold throttle 2000 3000 rpm, timimg will move again this called mechanical advance if it advances and returns to idle "f" mark it's good maybe go to 4000rpm if won't advance you have to fix it.If it works Put hose back on watch timing marks should move faster.Note with engine idleing and you put hose on there should be no rpm increase. I hope this helps your return to idle problem.

Re: keeps slowing down
Car should idle around 1000 to 1200 RPM. I didn't see all the posts up to this point, but if you call me on the telephone, USA right? then I can talk you through anything Honda 600.
