roof trim

Post by enerdome »

can the roof trim on the coupe be removed without tearing into the headliner? also, is there any other model Honda that had similar trim. I'm talking about the two pieces front to back in the middle of the roof. thanks

The roof trim only covers the seams, it does not go into the inside of the car. I think early Civic has similar rubber strips.

roof trim

Post by eric.geiger »

does anyone know if the roof trim on the 600 coupe is the same as on the 1st gen civics? i came across a guy who is having them re made for the 1st gen civic and he was curious if our cars used the same profile of roof trim. he's hoping he can find more people to be interested to make it cost effective. it trim would come in a continuous length and would need to be trimmed to size accordingly for your vehicle.
heres a link to a picture and thread where he is looking to gather interest. let me know if anyone knows its its the same profile. the length doesn't matter only the profile.

totally different as in the shape and looks and size, thickness ect?  can you elaborate at all.  hoping it might be a somewhat suitable replacement even if not 100% correct and matching
