wont start

Post by tdthies1 »

Hello All
My car has been running great and starting with no problem (except turn over slow at first) and for some reason it wont turn over and the bendex wont click into place. Battery is up to par and checked battery terminals and connections on the starter. (took off, cleaned and put back on). taking the starter tomarrow to see if there is a problem there.
any ideas.
thanks

took it apart and found the two ground wires to the brushes where bad, so installed all new brushes and tested great. put it in and it turned over a little than stopped. took it apart and check all and than put it togather and tested. Ran great untill it came to rest on a bad spot on the armiture so now need to replace.
