Noob with NL 360

Post by huff923 »

I am taking delivery today of this little wagon. It needs everything, but is complete and runs. The tailgate works great.
Looks like parts will be hard to get. Are 600 sedan chassis parts (brakes, suspension, cv joints, steering) interchangeable?
Is there a source of 360 engine/trans parts in the English speaking world? I have seen just a few items on e-bay.
Thanks!

Maybe not English speaking but the N360s were very popular in Panama City, Panama in the early 70's.  We had three of them in my military unit alone.  There was only one Honda dealership in Panama at that time and they never seemed to be lacking for parts.  Anybody planning a crusie through the Panama Canal?  It might be worth a stop over.  The dealership was just called "Honda of Panama".

Noob with NL 360

Hey thats a great idea, I am in Costa Rica just next door to Panama. The Honda dealer here is not well stocked but Panama usually has lots more of any kind of part than here, they get business from all over.
Thanks for the tip!

Steve
Maybe you will be lucky enough to find parts that were not recalled from the dealership and a dealership that would love to clear the "old junk" off of their shelves.  If you hit the motherload of NOS parts, I bet there are a lot of other members of this group that would be interested in anything that you cannot use.  Good luck
