exhaust leak

Hi all,
My 600 sedan that I resurrected from the dead into a driver has sprung an exhaust leak. It is right behind the grill, at the flange where the primaries end. Because of the age and the rust I am a little wary of disassembly...is there any way to stop a leak like this with everything in place, or do I have to replace the gasket?

hat jon i weld the header to the heat exchanger to the bottom flange it makes it all one piece and i do it with the motor out of the car thy dont leak after that but i do have tons of parts so its no big deal to me i hate exhaust leaks Kevin

If it is just the gasket there is a set of NOS ones on Ebay, just search for N600 in Ebay Motors and you will find them.

    What is your engines number?
And does it look like this exhaust manifold or is it different?  There are two different types and if you have the later engine
with 1500000 numbering then I have the gaskets to replace all three of the leaking ones.
I will send another e-mail with the pictures.
