Hey all,
After obtaining a bunch of parts from craigslist over the summer, I am trying to piece together a complete engine. Even though there are some parts that I am missing, I taking my time to clean up the parts that I do have. One of those parts is an intact crankcase. It is next in line to clean by sandblasting, but I wanted to check with the group to see if you can offer up suggestions on what to be careful about since I haven't cracked one open before.
