Fiat 500
Has everybody seen the new micro car coming soon to the US sold at Chrysler dealers?
The Fiat 500, looks like it will be a hit!
Even has a 2 cylinder model called TwinAir but probably won't sell them in the US, claims 68 MPG!
You can see the test drives on YouTube for all models.

Re: Fiat 500
Sorry, this holds as much appeal to me as the reborn "mini" did. It should appeal to that same big mini audience. It's not a microcar,
just a small car.

just a small car.

Re: Fiat 500
The Abarth packaged one with 180 bhp is pretty appealing, though.

Re: Fiat 500
the main problem is that it will be a chrysler product--in the used car business, we avoid ANY cars manufactured by that lousy bean-counting, underachieving crappy company--their trucks and full-sized vans, especially the diesel powered stuff is exemplary, but their other stuff is destined to fail almost as quickly as the overpriced units from AUDI--

Re: Fiat 500
I totally agree, we used to avoid them like the plague back in the late 70's when I had my first job in high school. I can always remember that freekin starter whine from those Mopar Chryslers, OMG the worse noise since bagpipes!
I can say that the fastest I've ever driven in my life was in a 1968 Chrysler Imperial, I had it up to 120 mph and it still wanted to go faster but backed off. My grandmother would have killed me if she ever found out but never did before she died.
We also avoided Fiats, and anything French too!
Cheers
