Helping Father in-law to sell Honda 600 collection

Post by Tanya »

Hi my name is Tanya and I am helping my father in-law to sell his Honda 600's. He has approximately 20 Honda 600's. He owns a mechanic shop in Albuquerque, New Mexico where he mainly works on Honda's. He is trying to downsize how many cars he owns and is looking to sell the Honda 600's. All the Honda's have been stored in a garage and I assume at one time or another were running. This weekend we went to the garage to get some information about the Honda's.
They were tightly fit into the garage so I was not able to get a lot of information, but I got as much as I could about each one. We are hoping to be able to get the cars out of the garage to assess their condition in the next coming weeks. I have the VINS, year of manufacturing, color, make, odometer, approximate condition of the interior and anything major that I could see on the front end of the cars.
So here is the list:
'72 AZXXX-XXX-XXXX Blue coupe Odometer 74190
'70 AN600102309 Gold Sedan Odometer 51810
'71 AN600105464 Yellow Sedan Odometer 74678 Interior appears to be ok, not sure if I wrote
VIN down correctly
'72 ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Orange Sedan Odometer 10816 Interior pretty good
The first four cars listed he currently has titles to, the rest of the cars he can get titles for them.
ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Maroon Sedan Odometer 63436
ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Yellow Sedan Odometer 88719 Interior in poor condition
AZXXX-XXX-XXXX Orange Coupe Odometer 75846 Interior in poor condition
ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Red/Orange Sedan Odometer 68593 Interior in ok condition, bumper broken, crack in
dash board
The last Honda 600's listed I have not seen, but I assume they are in the other warehouse. They have titles on them.
'72 AZXXX-XXX-XXXX Coupe
'72 AZXXX-XXX-XXXX Coupe
'72 ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Sedan
'71 ANXXX-XXX-XXXX Sedan
My father in law probably has other 600's in his other warehouse and I have not been there to pull numbers off of them yet. I do have pictures of the interiors. They are not that good because they were taken at odd angles while peering through the windows, but if you would like to see them I can certainly upload them.
Thank you!

WOW Tanya, that is one heck of a load of Honda's!
Sure wish I lived closer to come out and look at them and perhaps buy one or two off of you!
It sure would be nice if you could sell all of them to the same person, it would save you a lot of hassle!
A lot group on them on eBay would probably be the way to go for that route!
I hope someone on the list can help you out with this predicament too!

Let me ask you, Are any of them working?
Or would any of them be fairly easy to get on the road ? I live in Ca. Or they all real rough I mean new tires, batteries,...? Maybe you could let me know.
