honda update
honda update
Just a update on the honda engine and the mods I have put on this engine. The alternator and electric cooling fan are working very good, no issues at all. The Electronic ignition is working fine also. Now we have installed a atv carb and happy to report that is the best upgrade so far for this engine hands down. Better throttle response, runs very smooth, fits the orignal intake without any mods, more testing and fine tuning the jetting will only make it better. This engine also is built with a NOS crankshaft kit, 1.00 mm oversize pistons, hawaiian style head and exhaust, accell super coil, the head, cam box and intake have been ported and polished, and a high lift cam is in place. Maybe a oil cooler is next.

Re: honda update
I hope you will share some of your secrets when you get everything ironed out. It would be nice to know where the electronic ignition came from and which ATV Carb you used. EVERY piece of information that will help keep these fun little cars on the road is great.

Re: honda carb update
The carb is used on a Honda 400 Atv, I use the stock choke cable of the honda n600 for the throttle cable and used a aftermarket cable for the choke, up one size on the jet, adjust idle, adapt air filter, remove factory air box and you are ready to go,
I can now also offer rebuilt front struts with new seals, oil, springs and the ride height is adjustable.

Re: honda carb update
Good to know your making stuff for the Honda's.
The strut's like most things are not available.
If everyone re-builds or re-makes one part we could keep these cars going.
We need to update our parts and supplier list also.
Thanks
Lyle

Re: honda carb update
Can you give us some info on the Electronic Ignition you use?
