removing Carburetor 72 Coupe

Post by bobs600honda »

Quick question on getting the carb out.
Do I need to unbolt from intake manifold or can I remove by pushing backwards toward air filter.
Thanks for any suggestions.

you can push it out but you have to kind of rock it back and forth because the intake manifold black rubber is usually very stiff.   i usually take the air box off so i can get my hands around the carb easier.  if you take off the intake manifold have a new o-ring to install when you put it back together so you don't get a leak causing a bad idle.
