Oh well.  Back in 1984 I suspect that a Honda 600 was not held in quite the same esteem it is now.  Just an “old cheap foreign car”.    The builder of this thing probably found the sedan (coupe?) on sale in running shape for $100 and said “that’ll do!”

Looks like a good candidate for a micro-dump or concrete mixer. Might also be another candidate for a 460 c.i. ford powered rat rod. Honda Rat Rod fever....KingTrans... by the way the Honda 600 Rat Rod went for 12,000 one week after posting it on youtube...it now resides in Black Mountain...

Back in 84, I was driving mine full time.  In 86, I started buying them cheap, striping parts, and cutting up the remains.
The car is definitely a sedan, look at the rear bumper and corner reflector.
