Can anyone give me some advice on removal of the steering wheel safety pad on my '72 660 Coupe? Manual says, "Pull off pad". I gave it a tug, but it did not budge. I don't want to destroy it. Are there fasteners? I need to get the steering wheel off to refurbish it.
