Post by dm600z »

Hi Chuck,
I noticed the batteries are shipped without acid.
Did you purchase your sulfuric acid from the UK or did you purchase it locally from a chemical supply place?
thanks,
Dale

Actually, I have not purchased my acid as of yet. But I called my local batteries plus, and they said they could set up the battery for me for $10. I'm assuming that acid is extra.

I've been running mine for like 3 years now with no issues I disconnect it over the winter and hook it up to a trickle charger every once in a while.  Starts every time

BTW, I made some pencil post to SAE adaptors by cutting some 1/32" lead sheet to the length of the post and wrapped it around the post until it matched the size of the cable opening.
