Like to know best place to get an oil filter for z600 direct fit no adapters

You can get the original NOS factory filter from a number of sellers, Midwest Wholesale (eagle_hd on ebay), honda600carparts.com, honda600shop.com, etc. Part numbers 15461-551-315 or 06154-551-505.
Also, the HiFlo HF-561 can be used without adapters (make sure your sealing washers are good). NOS filters are running about $30 to $60 with shipping. I found the HF-561 at a motorcycle site for $6.50 including shipping. Good luck.

Correction, Midwest Wholesale is eagle-hd on ebay (hyphen not underscore)

The HF561 is a little shorter than stock and needs an additional metal & rubber washer to make up the difference, so beware.

Do you happen to have the motorcycle  site or the name so i can look it up?  Understand  you need a extra rubber  and steel   washer for this washer. Is that what you used? Thanks for your time
