Hi Neal;
J.C. Whitney has a pinch/bulb type weather strip for about $35.00 to do
both doors that I like to use. It's in a diamond or what they call a 1/2
bulb type of weather strip.

You can move the latch catch on the door post out a bit to allow the door to close easier, this will set the door out a bit but will allow it to close easier. Then after a while you can move it back and it will close like before. Slamming your door is never a good thing to do. Besides causing the door to crack at the window brace (Coupe) it can jar the internal components of the door itself.

Yeah I tried setting out the door but the weather strip was just to thick, even cutting the back side off. So what I did is take it all off and I have 10 foot of the thin stick on type and put 5 foot of each side so the door does not rattle. I am trying to get some samples from a couple of other places to try. so for now all is good until I get up to about 45 mph and the wind noise gets loud. lol. kind of nice to have a 70s radio station in the area to listen to when I am driving it.
