help, clutch problem....

I have just purchaced a z600, 1972. The clutch has an extremely hard
pedel. It functions fine, just hard to use. Any sugestions out there
would be appreciated.

It,s either the cable being gummed up,or check the lever for binding
at the clutch cover pivot. riceburner006
