Rare Honda N600 in Japan

This is a Rare Honda N600 in Japan, someone said that there is no Honda N600
In Japan. This one looks like it bin there for a long time I wander how it gad there.

Seeing as it a left-hand drive car, I guess it was repatriated to Japan at some point, probably from here (?)

When I was in Okinawa in the mid 70's ( 74 - 78) I saw several left hand drive N600's there. As the island was under US jurisdiction at the time, we were driving US style even though there were cars with both left & right hand drive on the roads. I understand that when the island reverted to Japanese control, they went to mianland style driving (except on US bases I am told) Maybe it was considered an export market at the time.

I spent a week in Okinawa in 1976 with a bunch of buddies...had fun driving on the "wrong" side of the road. Security was tight on the bases then, we were not allowed on.
We were starved for American food, and there was a major root beer place in Naha we spent a lot of time at...
