I've just been invited to show my 600 Coupe at the very prestigious
Eyes on Design car show here in the Detroit area. This is a pretty
big deal show - charity black tie dinners and all - and is being
held June 26 at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford house. For the first time
ever they are inviting some Japanese cars, and my little 600 Coupe
will be there along with the megabucks museum cars that get hauled
in from across the country - and a Toyota 200GT, a Honda S something
from Florida, etc.
Here's where I could use your help. The car looks great except one
of the side "Coupe" emblems is pretty nasty - nasty enough that
right now there are just two holes on the rear pillar where the
emblem should be. Does anyone have an extra, show quality or close
Coupe emblem? My next alternative is to find a place that can
restore the one I have - rechrome the plastic and then do the black
parts. I don't expect to win a best in show trophy, but I really
don't want to take the only Honda 600 most of the folks have ever
seen with a missing emblem. I'd really like to buy one; worst case
is borrowing one long enough for the show.

It should be really interesting having the 600 sitting alongside
Duesenbergs, Aston Martins etc. I hope to get some good pictures and
