hi Greg, if you have a brake and clutch rebuilder in your area they might
can help. if not i use Clutch and Brake of Asheville XXX-XXX-XXXX and
talk to Roger. you can send it to him prepaid and he'll rebuild it and
send it back. hope this helps, Michael King

Hi Gregg or Mike
There are several parts to a Honda 600 clutch just like all other vehicles.
However, normally all you need is the friction plate, an inner seal for the drum and do a bit of cleaning up.  Unless the diaphragm spring is broken, one or more of the three torque springs are broken.  If any of these are broken most rebuilders will not be able to help you.  I am including the two pages from the parts manual so you will see what I am talking about.
The drum and pressure plate can be smoothed out (cleaned up) with an 80 grit paper on your Die Grinder, a drill may not go fast enough.  Trying to have a shop do it will give you the same results, because they are not going to take the time to chuck it up in a lathe.  The two springs I am talking about are numbers 12 and 9 on the list.  If you are going to have the clutch disc rebuilt just tell them that it is the same size as an MG for the friction material.  They will not have a listing for a Honda 600.

Bill I would very happy to find just a disc.Could you tell me a disc part number or what kind of car its out of.Most auto parts only sell kits.I do own a automatic trans shop.Just need to tell auto parts something....Thanks for all your help    Gregg
