Hi,
I have read several posts regarding connecting rod noise. I also read
that the connecting rods on the Honda 600's are a bit of a weak link
that does go out. Just curious as to what goes out? It it the actual
connecting rod or the bearing. How involved is fixing this -- can it
be done without removing the heads. Can the connecting rod bearings
be replaced with success?
How is a bad connecting rod diagnosed? I thought the noise was in the
diff. housing but now not sure after extesive listening The noise
seems to resinate everywhere.
