Why does it seem that so many 600s still have the clear plastic over the black vinyl on the doors? Mine had it on when I bought it in '03. Yes, it keeps the vinyl clean, but what about the rest of the car? There is a Coupe on ebay right now that has plainly been sitting in the weather for forever, but sure enough, the saran wrap is still on the black vinyl on the doors! I say, unwrap those doors, wipe on a little Armor-all, and enjoy.
