Book calls for the top or compression ring to be .045 to .075 mm and the second ring and oil ring to be .015 to .045 mm.
I have my bore one point five thousands over the piston size. And while the pistons and cylinders are at the shop have them weigh the pistons to get them both the same weight. All this helps when you want to reduce piston slap and make your engine to be as quite as possible. I have had brand new pistons weigh in way different, and it all effects performance.
