My '72 AZ600 was starting and running a week ago and now I can't seem to make it start although itr cranks. Have read from the email threads about similar problems which might concern clogged fuel liness or problems with the carburetor. I don't have the faintest idea as I am not even an amateur mechanic. I would greatly appreciate any recommendation If you or you know of someone within a radius of 100 miles from Concord, CA (so I can have the car towed to the location) who could fix this problem and an a[[rpximate of how much it would cost.

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Miles Chappel (www.600miles.com) for doing a great job of coming over to my place to tune and correct the timing of my AZ600. My 600 is now starting right up and the engine runs smoother. Thanks a lot Miles and I am sure there are a lot of other folks like me who have benefited well from your expertise and services. I would also like to thank everybody who has extended their expertise and experience and it sure is a great thing to be a member of this group.

Coming home from another town the other day I was running out of oxygen and had about 35 miles to go with just a tad of o2. Well I got into the little car more than I ever had. I came in at 70 mph and still had more pedal. Ran like a sewing machine. Lacked about 4 miles making it but was ok

Had my sedan on track at Charlotte Motor Speedway back in November. With no speed limit (or hills), and 2 extra passengers, she still ran 75mph!
....not sure how much pedal was left - I was too busy holding on to notice... ;)
The excursion was all documented and I'm working on the video for Utube - of which, you guys will be the first to know when it's posted.
Now then...... do I hear 80?

My friend's coupe showed 100mph on the speedo down a steep hill with 3 aboard. We ran our cars at an indicated 72mph in the same lane passing cars on the interstate. You get funny looks when you do that. This was back in the 70's.

I have larger 13" diameter Mazda wheels on my Z, and even though the
speedometer is less trusted than Bush's foreign policy plan, I think
I was getting at least 80 mph. The tachometer was pushing a little
past redline, and I believe the tach more than I do the speedometer,
which indicated about 85 mph. Definitely wouldn't want to make a
habit of pushing the car that hard, but sometimes you just have to
show that Ferrari in the fast lane that he's holding up traffic.

I drive my sedan every day as long as it's not raining! I don't drive it in the rain as I want it to last as long as possible. The rain just pours right into the engine compartment and isn't good for the wiring or anything else!
