I am helping a buddy chase down a factory Honda wood shifter knob.
looks like this:

(not my car, just the photos he sent to me for reference)
i believe it came as a factory option in the early CVCC with a wood
steering wheel (possibly wagon).
he originally was told it was an OE knob from a N/Z600 but I've never
seen one stock.
thought one of you might know where to source one.
Reply back to me if you have one or know who might and i'll pass along
the contact info.
Thanks!

WANTED: OE Honda Wood shift knob circa 1970's/80's
Re: WANTED: OE Honda Wood shift knob circa 1970's/80's
The 1975 Honda Civic CVCC hatchback did have a wood shifter knob and a fake wood steering wheel.
I have never seen a wood shifter knob or wood steering wheel on a stock Honda 600 (sedan or coupe) in the USA. Although I have never seen one (and I have seen hundreds of Honda 600 cars), it may have been available as an option ..... someone else on this site will let us know.
good luck,
Dale

The knob is in the accessories brochure. It's real. Brian Higginson (B&B Automotive) has one in his car.
The wooden steering wheel, don't know if it's genuine Honda. However, sedans were sold with them. I've got pictures somewhere.
