air box

any advantage to add a hose to the air box long enough so it draws cold air by the grill. I tryed a filter cone in place of the air box but too much induction noise.Love my 600 coupe, always a big hit at Long Island car shows, Bob

Hey Whitessports39 your the first NJ/NY guy I have seen on here other than Steve....  I don't have a 600 yet, any chance you got a spare on to sell me? maybe one you think is too far gone even....

Hi Bob,
     Drawing in colder air will increase the air density which may improve the performance. Give it a try and let us know if you notice any improvement.  It will not do any harm.   You can create a tuned ram air induction system for your car.
