Can anyone give me some pointers on how to disassemble the outer CV joint? Inner is relatively easy by the manual. How do you access the inner snap ring. I have removed the external circlip but don't see how to access the inner one to remove the end to clean out the old grease.

Hi Robert;
It's the same way, just undo the large clamp and the small clamp and pull it over the inner side of the shaft. Unless you plan on renewing your outer bearings, just slip it off from the inner cv joint.
