Back to body work.
I have my Orange coupe stripped and on a rottiserie. Most of the paint is removed so I can find all the rusted areas.
The head liner is out and now I can fix the dents in the roof.
The problem, I can pop the dent out from inside the car, but with a little pressure from the outside I can pop it back in!!
Beer can comes to mind!
That's no good, so how do I reinforce the roof?
I could rotate the car upside down and put a thin layer of fiberglass cloth in?
Body work is not my trade, Help!

Roof dent repair
Re: Roof dent repair
I did on my car is added steel straps across the inside of the roof. I purchased 1/8" by 1" metal from Home Depot, and cut and curved them to form to the inside of the roof. I cut them so they would wedge between the two channels on both sides of the roof then bonded them with a bonding agent similar to liquid nails, but can't remember what I used for sure, but any kind of bonding agent will work. My roof is nice and strong now. I remember years ago that all my 600 Coupes would pop in just when I would wash them.
