Orphan Car, Dune Buggy and Handcrafted Vehicle Meet

Post by Howard Singer »

April 15, 2011
To:  N600 , Z600 , S600, S800 and T500 Owners,
Hello everyone,
Attached please find an entry form for our semi-annual
Orphan Car, Dune Buggy and Handcrafted Vehicle Meet
Sunday, September 4, 2011
La Jolla, California . . .The American Riviera
As a former owner of a 1971 N600 Honda pickup, I always make an exception and invite owners of the above captioned Honda vehicles to our meet, although none of the above are orphans.
By definition, an "orphan" is a marque no longer sold in the USA.  American Honda continues to be a major player in the USA with vehicles produced in Japan, Canada, and the USA.
Please note that the deadline for our $25.00 entry fee is
July 31, 2011 .  From August 1, 2011 through September 4, 2011 , the entry fee is $40.00 .
As we used to say in the 1950s,
"See You in September,
see you, when the summer's through. . ."
All the very best,
Howard

Orphan Car, Dune Buggy and Handcrafted Vehicle Meet

Post by Howard Singer »

Dear Collector Car Owner:
We are extremely excited about the new entry form for our events (see attached). We hope you will like it as much as we do. As you see, we have given an umbrella name to our various meets Nuts 4 Cars.
We always make a few exceptions to the "orphans" we allow at our semi-annual meets.  For the second time this year, we have approved all makes of "woodies", Chevrolet Corvair and Chevrolet Vega , Ford Pinto , and, because I am a former owner of one, the Honda AZ600 and NZ 600 .
Earlier this year (February 13) Nuts 4 Cars held its first Orphan Car Meet in La Jolla.  Its resounding success demanded that we hold another such event this year. We have picked September 4th as the date because it falls on the Sunday prior to Labor Day.
This holiday weekend is ideal for those staying in town to celebrate by either showing or viewing classic and collectible automobiles in La Jolla.
As the owner of a discontinued make (orphan vehicle), this is an event you will want to participate in.
I encourage you to fill out the entry form and become an active participant in this Nuts 4 Cars event.
Please note the pre-registration deadline of August 22nd.
We are looking forward to including you.
All the very best, Howard Howard G. Singer
