Coupe engine going in

Post by Lyle »

Put my engine in over the weekend!
Yes, it was a little overkill with 2 fork lifts rated at 5,000 pounds a piece and a couple buddy's, but it only cost me beer.
The car is now a roller and ready for the paint shop.
See photo's.

Coupe to paint shop

Post by Lyle »

Brad, yep a big step. Now it's a roller and my shop has a lot more space. Amazing how much room a micro car takes up when it's apart.
My buddy pulled me to the paint shop with his V10 pickup, a strap and a little parking brake to keep the strap tight. Only an 1/8 mile away, so he just put it in drive and we idled over, he never touched the gas! Funny.
