Z600 muffler and tailpipe
Does anyone have a muffler and tailpipe for a Honda Z600, or are there any suitable replacements available from any local sources?
If so, what is a fair price for one. I have other parts to possibly trade, or would purchase one outright.
I also need to source some brake shoes (rear) for the same Z600, but I would like to purchase an entire set.
You can respond to me off list at chasgould@... or by telephone at XXX-XXX-XXXX or on list if you prefer.
Thank you,
Charles

best place to get rear shoes is rock-auto, something like 7 or 8 bucks per axle. I have a new set that I'll sell for 45 bucks if it compares to everyone elses price.

Re: Z600 muffler and tailpipe
Honda600parts.com is where I got my brake shoes.
As for the exhaust and tail pipe goodluck. I just bought a muffler tailpipe combo from a guy I found who was gutting his 600 for a race car project. Paid almost 300$ for both. And I thought that was a good deal.
I called Tim mings a while back and he has some. He quoted me 200 for a used tailpipe and 400 for a NOS one.
Maybe try B&B in Portland area but they never seem to be willing to part with anything unless it's for a car that's being serviced in their shop.

Hello guys
look at item number 150634988706 and 150849374292 and 160836558797 and when you order these at peter rose (sherwood motorcylce) order also the rear shock absorbers because when you have mounted these on your car you don't recognice the car again. the drivability is much and much better

Re: Z600 muffler and tailpipe
Brake shoes or even he front pads can be re lined at a local brake shop in your home town. Then they are fresh, and are correct for your car. Honda made different rear brake shoes and getting the right ones is often a problem.
