I recently mechanically fixed up this ugly duckling 1972 Honda Z 600 coupe .....and now find it irresistible !. I drove it home for the 1st time yesterday for local debut. I hesitantly displayed it to my wife with a big "TA-DA" ! I squirmed and clenched what seemed like eternity while I waited for an answer. My wife looks it over and called it " SUPER CUTE ". ??? ....Really?? That is funny. Totally unexpected. She did not say that when I dragged it out of the field in Oregon City and winched it on a trailer a few years ago. In fact, her comments were much more negative and obviously long forgotten. I am quickly learning " EVERYONE " loves this Z 600. Polishing the paint on this car was the last thing from my mind. Then I had a thought. Why not? It actually can shine. Even with a the paint flaws. What a nice surprise, it looks so much better now. It went from a " 50 foot " paint job to .......a " 15 foot " paint job in one afternoon !. haha What fun!
