Carburetor rebuild

Post by Mike »

Looks like I'm definitely going to be doing a valve job. As far as the excess carbon, it appears my fuel is running very rich. I've always had a rough idle, and just dealt with it, but I really think I should have had my carburetor rebuilt. It looks like the carb has never been opened an cleaned in it's 40+ years.
So, Who is really good with carburetor rebuilds? Tim? Brad, you did really good rebuilding my rack and pinion steering, how do you feel about carburetors?
I can certainly send it to you.
thanks,
Mike.

Yes Mike, not a problem. If it hasn't been apart all those years it would be due for it. Feel free to send it to me.
