brake booster vs. tee vs. alternative master cylinder ?

Hello all,
I am quite sure this has been a subject of a discussion before. Does any one knows about a tee element that could replace the booster or a new set up that could work, including a different master cylinder ? Thanks a lot, Mike

Hi Mike;
There are several master cylinders people have used and posted here on the group with their ideas.  There are also some shops that will rebuild your breaks alleviating the need to custom make parts or things that will make it work.
But if it is a sedan the rear brake hose will screw into the existing fittings removing the booster.
The Coupe is a bit more difficult, requiring disassembly of the booster and plugging the ends and using the fittings to connect it like a part of the line.
A shop on the east coast called White Post Restorations ( www.whitepost.com ).
Pull the master cylinder, wheel cylinders or calipers, leave them all together and send em to them as they state on their site and everything comes back ready to install.
White Post will do the boosters (they did mine) but you have to provide the rubber diaphragm.
They have a good turn around time and I have no faults with their work.

Nothing that I have tried.  But there were some posts on the group that found master cylinders that will work.
