Hi all,
Anybody notice how the crankshaft pulley can be installed 180 degrees either way. Ive only known pulleys to have one notch so it fits only one way. The one on my vehicle has 2 notches. Is this original?
How would I know which way is right side up, so it goes in to match correctly with the timing notches.

Top dead center is found by rotating the crankshaft until the piston is all the way to the top. (Pull the plug and use a scribe or some other thin long object to see if the piston is all the way up) and then install the pulley with the mark up.
