rear engine mount

Hello all….
My father has pulled the engine out of his 72 sedan…
It has the ‘Coupe’ style rear engine mount. Since the engine serial number does not match the VIN plate, we are thinking the engine/subframe came from a Coupe.
Other than the different rear mount, are the Coupe and Sedan engine/mounting identical?
Also – anyone know why they used a different rear engine mount on the Coupe?
