Well they off loaded Honda 600's in Seattle, Portland, LA, San Diego
Louisiana and I believe New York. At least these are the only entry points
that I have found documentation on.
Miles, were there any other roll off points in the USA?
But this lends to the reason so many are in these areas.

Honda dealerships started opening in Seattle before
Honda made cars plus the weather is not harsh and they
don't use salt on the roads. Maybe its a survivor
story.

Re: Honda 600s & VW's?? in the NorthWest - why?

Is there alot of VW Beetles up there too? Since Honda 600 and Beetle
were similar in price and HP, The Honda 600 is probably the last tiny
production car sold in America in the 1970's. Since they are tiny you
will find lots of them parked in garages and back yards awaiting
repair. The car I restored last year sat for 25 years in a garage in
Watsonville Ca. She said she couldn't restore it sooner as her
children came first and she couldn't part with it as she bought it
new in 1972. More and more Honda 600's will surface as interest rises
along with gas prices.

Yea, never saw Dan-o driving one though, also lowest number left. I was
stationed there from 70 to 84 and I can remember seeing 5 on the road
although there must have been more.
