Fiberglass hoods

Does anyone think that there would be an interest in fiberglass or
carbon fiber hoods for 600 coupes? I am in the composite race car
parts business, and if there is enough interest I could make a mold
and some hoods. LMK Matt

What is the price for the hood?

I am not sure about price. It depends on if there is enough interest
to go to the trouble to make a mold. I would guess around $200-250 for
a fiberglass hood. More in carbon (carbon fiber prices have
skyrocketed lately).
We could make just skins to go on the original steel frames for a bit
less. I just found a NOS hood that would be good to make a mold from,
and thought that if enough people needed hoods that this would be
something to think about doing. Thanks to anyone for input, Matt

Wow, that would sure be a boon for anyone that needs a hood to cure a bump or who desires to reduce weight! I drive an '88 Plymouth Sundance and I'd love to get a hood for my Sundance... any thing available, and what would be the price?
