Hood on Z

Were there some Z600s that had the hood open from the windshield toward the front
bumper? Photos I've seen show that they open just like the Sedan � that is the hood is
hinged near the windshield. There is a project car for sale on eBay (item No. 462628178)

photo of the engine compartment which seems to show the Z's hood opening toward the
front. What gives here?

if you looko closely at the picture you can see the hood hinge in the
bottom left, also you can see that they bent the hood forward on the
hood lock.

Pictures show hodd not bolted to hinges, and they have lifted the hood
while front latch is still engaged, propably bending the latch
mechanisim.
What a mess. So sad.
