Seatbelts too short

All right all you N600 (and Z600) drivers, how have you dealt with seatbelts? Back in 1974 I
always wore the lap and shoulder belt while driving my N600. These days, I've discovered,
that the belts, like the car itself, seem smaller. So far, my answer has been to buckle the
belt behind the seat, keeping the buzzer from sounding. That, however, won't satisfy my
local policeman who sees belts installed that I am not using. (In my own defense, I really
only need about three more inches�) Other than a diet to lose those inches, is there any
alternative that would permit seat belt use for the "larger" man?

John,
Go to almost any car dealership and they can get you a 'seat belt
extender' - basically a universal extension that clips into the
existing seat belt and makes it longer. I don't think they come in
lengths as short as 3", but should probably work just fine for you.
