New to Group

Post by nicholson600 »

Hello All,
I'm new to your group, thanks for the acceptance. I live in North
Idaho and have two N600s. One was modified in to a king cab pickup and
the other is/has been restored to original. I am looking for a z600
to complete my colletion. Is there anybody in this group with
cars/parts for sale/trade near to my location (Coeur d' Alene, Idaho
83815)?
Thanks again, I look forward to your responses,
J Nicholson

Hi J...
I live in Salt Lake City and have a coupe with a rebuilt engine. The engine was rebuilt 7 years ago and never fired up.
From the looks of it it just needs to be cleaned a bit. It might need new points/condenser, etc. The previous owner said it would need a new breaker assembly (easy fix) but I havn't verified this yet. It also probably needs new rear shocks.
It has a VERY small amount of rust. It's an arizona car that I just transported up here.
If you're interested please let me know. My intention was to restore it but I have suddenly gotten the urge to pay off my debt before i take on any more projects.
Contact me at matt@... if you're interested.

New to Group

Post by Don »

Hello everyone my name is Don Koller I recently bought a AN600 on ebay
to restore. I work for Honda at the Alabama plant where we make
current Pilot sport utility and Odyssey minivans. So as an Honda
employee I am trying to join a group of Japanese owners of cars like
the AN600 and the AZ600 that work at the Honda factories in Japan. See
if I can muster up some usable parts from there. I am going to do a
restoration but make the car less prone to rust with newer technologies
as this car will be put on an ocean going boat when I travel. Hope to
make new friends on this medium.........

hi, don!!!
welcome to the site--some VERY knowledgeable and helpful folks
here--it's GREAT to know someone who may make a connection in japan for
ORIGINAL and hard to find stuff--i'm looking for a mirror mounting plate in
good shape for my z-600---it's the last thing i need--the experts here
say it's pretty much impossible to get and that i should drill through
my mirror, but i really don't want to--
again welcome to the site--

Hi Don;
After spending 23 years at sea, the best you can do is Bag it, switch
to DOT 5 brake fluid and you could change every bolt, stud, fitting over to
CRES.
