REAR BRAKE BLEEDER SCREW????

Post by seanmathes »

I have been trying to bleed my brakes starting with the left rear on a
72 z coupe. There is no bleeder screw but only a bolt? I don't think
this should be right, I went to NAPA and got the only bleeder screw
that they showed for the car but it doesn't fit. The only one they
show is for the front. What should I do? Is there any way to bleed the
brakes with this bolt? Anybody please feel free to call me if you
would like to help. XXX-XXX-XXXX Thanks

Hi Sean,
Contact Miles Chappell. I believe he has new brake bleeding screws.

There's only one rear bleeder screw. I have some. Try bleeding your
front brakes first, The fronts hold more air. Bleed the Master
first, then the right front then the left front then the rear.
