Where to buy?

When I was young growing up in Louisiana, a friend of our family owed my dad
some money. They were about to move and, to pay my dad back, gave him a
Z600 with the engine in a box in the back seat.
We moved shortly thereafter and since my dad already had his own project car
(a Porsche 356B) that we were going to have to move, he sold the Z600 to a
friend around the block. Since then I've been fascinated with the car but
never really did much about it till recently.
I'd like to find a group or somebody in the NE Florida SE Georgia area that
is associated with the Hondas of this era. I'm also interested in acquiring
one. No need to contact me about $10K restored cars, that's not in my
budget. Looking for one that is in good condition, not mint.

The only other group I know besides my Yahoo Group is Bill's and we
are both west coast. There is a website called Honda Beat.
www.hondabeat.com but still not close to you, they are in Vermont.
If you have a local Craigslist.org I would look or advertise on
there, it's free to buy or sell. EBay is the other place to look.
