Well a little update first- all is working except break master cyl. (
it should be on its way soon. I had to drill the heads off of the
spare tire door to get it off and i am still attempting to get the
bolts out, and a passinger side back side marker light. (all rusted
inside) If anyone has one let me know, i just need the guts for it.
When i bought my honda it was parked under a tree and got rusted of
course. Water got in and on the floor where the seat belts set. The
drain plugs held the water in very well. lol Well of course they are a
pile of rust so i need a set of seat belts for my honda. Does anyone
know of an after market that i can get for it?
Thanks for any help you can give me

Re: Seatbelts for z600 coupe
When I needed seat belts, I checked with JC Whitney (_www.jcwhitney.com_
(http://www.jcwhitney.com) ). You can check their website and see if they still
have something available. Finding the seat lap belts was easy but finding
something with the shoulder harness which would work on the Honda was a
challenge. The Honda 600 had the detachable shoulder harness (which I don't like
to use but I do use the lap belt).
You want to use the anchor points which Honda has provided for the seat belt
system to be safe. The part I don't like are the state laws regarding seat
belts. They all pretty much require you to use the system which was in place
at the time the car was made. So, I am supposed to be wearing the lap belt
(that is fine with me) and the shoulder harness (I hate the 600 shoulder
harness.... the Civic had a better system). One of these days I will probably
be cited for not wearing the shoulder harness.
I was once told the seat belt systems on the Honda had a lifetime guarantee.
If I took it to Honda they would fix it for free. That is what I was told
but I have my doubts about it and I never contacted Honda. I doubt Honda
still makes the seat belts for these cars. But you might call Honda and find
out their policy on safety equipment.
good luck,
Dale
